Beautiful Moments

“Your message changed my life,” the words spilled softly from her lips as a knot formed in my throat. This precious young mom voiced her gratitude. It had been over a year since we first met. Now her normal included a healed and full life.

I love to encourage others but it is extra beautiful when a life is changed, or a marriage saved. These “God moments” are the joy He has for each of us! These are the times when we know God just did something, and He did it through you or me! I. Will. Never. Get. Over. This. God uses simple people. (like me) 🙂

Ladies, what small act of obedience has God laid on your heart today?

You may be nervous to step into your destiny. You may even think your obedience is without results, but can I encourage you this morning to keep moving forward? Trust and obey with each step. “Trust in the Lord and do good.” Psalm 37:3 (NIV)

Whether you are relentlessly caring for your toddlers day after day, or showing up for work morning after morning; as you are obedient, God will use your acts of faithfulness. He can ordain your life for something bigger than yourself. Isaiah 55: 8 reads, “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the LORD. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Peace lies on the other side of obedience. The greatest joy outside of salvation are words spoken like I recently heard.

Press on my friend! “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

We serve a big God and He knows how to give big blessings. One day a beautiful person will pause to whisper gratitude, and you will be blessed; simply because you trusted Him and were obedient to his calling on your life.
